Classic and comfortable traditional Norwegian cardigan. Gorgeous pewter buttons with a Viking ship motif and 100% wool braiding enhance the rich design. Sandviken has been part of the collection since 1992 with only small improvements made over the years. Although only October when this photograph was taken by Susan at Nigardsbreen in Luster, on the west coast of Norway, winter had well and truly arrived. The beautiful aqua lake formed by the water running down from the glacier reflected the stunning patterns in the rock. The icy water so enticing, you could almost just dive in.

A light structural pattern inspired by the traditional fisherman's sweater, covers the body of the jacket in the main colour. There is an elegant pattern with the contrast colour across the chest. Down each side of the body there is a rib to give a better fit and excellent mobility. The cardigan has a full zip, fleece lined collar and a practical elastic drawstring at the base of the sweater, for a perfect fit. Knitted in 100% wool.
The design takes its name after an old farmstead in Bergen. Alvøen is one of the oldest and best kept industrial sites in Norway where the mill, as well as the old farmsteads, have been turned into a museum. Well worth a visit! The lovely whitewashed workers houses situated by the sea, have all been renovated and are so pretty.

Classic and comfortable traditional Norwegian cardigan. Gorgeous pewter buttons with a Viking ship motif and 100% wool braiding enhance the rich design. Sandviken has been part of the collection since 1992 with only small improvements made over the years. The design is inspired by Mount Sandviken, one of the seven mountains that surround the beautiful city of Bergen and knitted in 100% wool which you can wash in the washing machine on a wool programme. You will be hard pressed to find a more traditional Norwegian cardigan.

A light structural pattern inspired by the traditional fisherman's sweater, covers the body of the jacket in the main colour. There is an elegant pattern with the contrast colour across the chest. Down each side of the body there is a rib to give a better fit and excellent mobility. The cardigan has a full zip, fleece lined collar and a practical elastic drawstring at the base of the sweater, for a perfect fit. Knitted in 100% wool.
The design takes its name after an old farmstead in Bergen. Alvøen is one of the oldest and best kept industrial sites in Norway where the mill, as well as the old farmsteads, have been turned into a museum. Well worth a visit! The lovely whitewashed workers houses situated by the sea, have all been renovated and are so pretty.

Solvorn in Luster, Sogn og Fjordane, is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Voss is a sporty design which is comfortable to wear when you are active. Inspired by wonderful days skiing under blue skies at Voss ski resort in the West of Norway. Voss is knitted in 100% wool with a high zipped collar and a soft fleece lining. A practical elastic drawstring at the base of the sweater gives it a perfect fit on the hip.

To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting.
All our products are individually made so there can be a slight variation of up to 3 cm in each product.
Wool however is very stretchy!
