Cute and cosy, the Ulriken Hat has a soft fleece lining, so no itching. Knitted in 100% wool, it is warm and breathes as only a natural fibre can. The old eight leafed rose pattern used frequently in Norwegian patterns is inspired by the fauna and flora in the wonderful Norwegian landscape. Looks equally good on boys and girls.

Love your garment
All Susan Fosse garments can be either hand washed or washed in the washing machine using a hand wash wool cycle. To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting.
How to measure:
- A - Chest: underarm to underarm
- B - Back: base of collar to base of sweater
- C - Sleeve: centre neck to cuff

Mount Ulriken is Bergen´s highest mountain at 643 metres above sea level. There is a cable car you can take up, or if you and the kids are feeling fit, you can climb the long steps to the top.
Our Ulriken design was one of Susan´s first designs she made in 1992 and is still a firm favourite. Inspired by many a long hike to the summit of Mount Ulriken.
The sweater can be machine washed - and is both comfortable and durable - perfect for active children outdoors or for keeping cosy indoors. Trimmed with beautiful wool braiding and pewter hooks, this is a classic!

Fjord - Kjøsnesfjorden in Jølster is surrounded by dramatic mountains where the weather not only changes with the seasons, but you can have all seasons in one day! Check out the paintings by the artist Nikolai Astrup, who never tired of this stunning place.
Barn - Discovering isolated valleys in Norway can become addictive. Veitastrond is Susan´s favourite at any time of the year, but especially when summer meadow flowers are surrounded by the majestic Jostedalsbreen National Park.
Skansen - Instead of taking the funicular up Mount Fløien, make your own route through the narrow streets and alleyways between these colourful houses which cling to the mountainside. It’s worth getting lost here!

Orders and delivery
We will contact you if there is an excessive delay with the despatch of your Susan Fosse products. We aim to send out Susan Fosse products on the working day after we receive an order. The total cost of your order will include a delivery charge. Delivery times will vary according to how quickly the mail service can deliver. We recommend placing your orders early at particularly busy times of year (such as Christmas) to make allowance for delivery delays. We reserve the right to decline to fulfill orders for any reason, including a Susan Fosse product which has been mis-published, such as its price or specification. Orders are treated as offers which we are entitled to accept or decline. If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you. There is only one delivery charge per order. Note that we cannot be responsible for orders which go missing after delivery. Extra shipping charges will be incurred for shipping of exchanged goods.
Import Tax and/or value added tax may be charged by the country the product is shipped to. Import and Tax costs vary from country to country and are payable and the responsibility of the customer.
Returns policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it back for a full refund (less any shipping charges) within 14 days. Also, if you need to exchange your product for a different size, color, or alternation, simply send it back to us and we will promptly ship you the new product (subject to product availability and less any shipping charges.)
Returns must be 100% complete, in original and resalable condition, with all original packaging, and contents. Only unwashed, unworn, or defective merchandise may be returned. If you return the product(s) in unsellable condition we will ship the product back to you at your expense and will not provide you with a refund.
Please send the item back to us at the address below using any traceable shipping method if not using prepaid label. Once we receive your package, we will exchange or refund as you instruct.

Keep your wool garments looking fresh with this bamboo lint comb from the Norwegian brand På Stell. It gently and effectively removes pilling from your wool garments without damaging the wool fibres. Compact, lightweight, and easy to use.
How to use: Lay your garment flat. Use light pressure and gently glide the comb over the fabric in one direction to remove pilling.
Love your garment
All Susan Fosse garments can be either hand washed or washed in the washing machine using a hand wash wool cycle. To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting.
How to measure:
- A - Chest: underarm to underarm
- B - Back: base of collar to base of sweater
- C - Sleeve: centre neck to cuff
All our products are individually made so there can be a slight variation of up to 3 cm in each product.
Wool however is very stretchy!
