Collared V-neck knitted pullover in 100% wool with an elastic drawstring so that you can adjust the sweater to sit perfectly on the hip. Based on a comfy sweater that was always lying around at the summer house and everyone could throw on when it got chilly. The design is inspired by the beautiful colours found in the litchen and moss on the rocks high up in the Norwegian mountains. Unisex - looks equally stunning on men as on women.

Love your garment
All Susan Fosse garments can be either hand washed or washed in the washing machine using a hand wash wool cycle. To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting.
How to measure:
- A - Chest: underarm to underarm
- B - Back: base of collar to base of sweater
- C - Sleeve: centre neck to cuff
All our products are individually made so there can be a slight variation of up to 3 cm in each product.
Wool however is very stretchy!

The pattern of the Stølen cardigan is based on the pattern used in Kvam, but instead of contrasting colours Susan has used two different stitches to create a wonderful texture. Stølen is unbelievably comfortable with a full zipper, fleece on the inside of the collar and an elastic drawstring at the base to give it a perfect fit on the hip. Stølen is knitted in 100% wool. Designed and produced in Norway.

The Nordnes cardigan has the same intricate pattern as the Rundemann design, but with a full zip instead of hooks. The classic and comfortable traditional Norwegian cardigan is knitted in 100% wool. Nordnes is also available as a Vest.
Nordnes is a beautiful part of Bergen, a peninsula on the west side of the original old harbour of Bergen - Vågen. Nordnes is filled with the painted wooden houses which Bergen is famous for dating back hundreds of years. You will be hard pressed to find a more traditional Norwegian design.

Love your garment
All Susan Fosse garments can be either hand washed or washed in the washing machine using a hand wash wool cycle. To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry). The Nordnes Vest has the same intricate pattern as the Rundemann design, but with a full zip and of course, no arms. The classic and comfortable traditional Norwegian vest is knitted in 100% wool. Nordnes is a beautiful part of Bergen, a peninsula on the west side of the original old harbour of Bergen - Vågen. Nordnes is filled with the painted wooden houses which Bergen is famous for dating back hundreds of years. You will be hard pressed to find a more traditional norwegian design.

A light structural pattern inspired by the traditional fisherman's sweater, covers the body of the jacket in the main colour. There is an elegant pattern with the contrast colour across the chest. Down each side of the body there is a rib to give a better fit and excellent mobility. The cardigan has a full zip, fleece lined collar and a practical elastic drawstring at the base of the sweater, for a perfect fit. Knitted in 100% wool.
The design takes its name after an old farmstead in Bergen. Alvøen is one of the oldest and best kept industrial sites in Norway where the mill, as well as the old farmsteads, have been turned into a museum. Well worth a visit! The lovely whitewashed workers houses situated by the sea, have all been renovated and are so pretty.

Love your garment
All Susan Fosse garments can be either hand washed or washed in the washing machine using a hand wash wool cycle. To wash by hand use a detergent with a neutral pH and wash in lukewarm water, 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse well. Roll the garment in a towel to remove as much of the water as possible and then dry flat (do not hang to dry). The garment can then be gently steamed with an iron on a low setting. To wash by machine use a detergent with a neutral pH. Wash garment on its own, on a wool cycle at 30 degrees centigrade / 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat (do not hang to dry).
